Another Hot July Day....upcoming demonstration at Great River Fest

The Great River Folk Festival is coming up in August in La Crosse, Wis. It is located on the University of La Crosse campus on the 25-26. We will be having both spinners and weavers demonstrating throughout the weekend and hope you come and enjoy the day with us. We will be under the large demonstration tent which is easy to find. There will also be lots of good food, music and wonderful artwork at the event. Something to look forward as we edge nearer to fall weather.

Just a note to members trying to access our blog. Make sure you type the complete address in the address bar. Don't forget the / at the end. Also remember this is a http:// address, not a www. address. I hope you all surviving this hot, dry spell. Here's to working with fibers......L

Our next meeting will be at Diane C's house on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 7 pm.  There will not be an August meeting.

Welcome to the Three Rivers Weaving and Spinning Guild.  We are a group of fiber fanatics living within the beautiful hills of the Mississippi River Valley.  We are a very active guild, having monthly meetings in each others homes. We recently exhibited our fiber work at the Pump House Regional Center for the Arts in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.   Here are a few pics from that show.
